NYC Food Film Festival

While traversing the internet (as you do), I came across the website for the 2009 NYC Food Film Festival. This is a unique opportunity to watch films about food & get a chance to taste dishes featured in the movies. Pretty damn cool. The Astor Center is hosting 2 screenings/tastings on June 13th & 14th ($35 & $85 respectively), I'm going to go to the one on the 13th if possible.

The festival runs from the 13th to the 19th & has free screenings at LIC's Water Taxi Beach.
